Anchor to concrete / stone / paver patio. Choose the quantity of post that you would like to have anchored. The our crew will provide 5/16"x3" Tapcon type concrete anchor screws as required by the manufacturer to properly anchor the unit.
Anchor to a Wood or Trek Deck type base. The our crew will provide and install 3/8" x 3" lag bolts as part of the anchoring service. This service does not include deck evaluation, structural engineering, blocking, bracing, framing, carpentry, or any modifications to the existing deck structure. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the gazebo post locations align with existing deck joists or that any required blocking, bracing, or structural modifications are completed prior to installation. Customers are also responsible for ensuring the deck is structurally capable of supporting the gazebo and its intended use.
Trip Charge Insurance – Peace of Mind for Your Assembly At Zomg The Handyman, we understand that missing or damaged parts can sometimes delay assembly. Even though we work wioth manufacturers that have some of the best reputations for avoiding this issue it still happens and will be forever out of our control. To help make the process smoother, we now offer Trip Charge Insurance—an optional coverage that ensures a free return visit if we need to come back due to missing or broken parts.:
Opt-Out – If you choose NOT to purchase Trip Charge Insurance, a $195 up to 30% of the total order Return Trip Fee will apply for additional visits needed due to missing or broken parts. FYI: Manufacturers do not cover the additional trip and wasted time costs for issues caused by missing or damaged parts.
Opt-In for – If any parts are missing or damaged, we will return at no additional charge to complete the assembly once the replacement parts have arrived. This does not cover the cost of shipments not being onsite the day of service. It only covers parts missing or damaged from the shipment that is on site before our scheduled service date.
The foundation and assembly area must be clear of personal belongings, suitable for the product being installed, and level within 1/4 inch across the full footprint of the unit. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the foundation is sufficiently thick, structurally sound, properly constructed, and suitable for supporting and anchoring the product.
I understand that our crew do not perform engineering, structural, or subsurface evaluations of existing foundations and cannot determine the condition, thickness, reinforcement, or structural integrity of an existing concrete, paver, masonry, deck, or other installation surface before performing the service.
Anchoring Hardware: When anchoring is included in the service, our crew retain the discretion to select and use commercially available anchoring hardware and installation methods that they determine to be appropriate for the product and actual installation conditions. This applies whether or not the manufacturer supplies or recommends particular anchoring hardware. Manufacturer-supplied or recommended anchoring hardware does not require Zomg The Handyman or its crew to use that hardware when, in their professional judgment, another commercially available anchoring method is more appropriate for the installation conditions.
