At Zomg The Handyman, we understand that missing or damaged parts can sometimes delay an assembly. While we work with manufacturers that have some of the best reputations for minimizing these issues, they can still occur and are beyond our control.
Opt-Out Notice If you choose not to purchase Trip Charge Insurance, a return trip fee of $195 (up to 30% of the total order) will apply for any additional visits required due to missing or damaged parts. Please note: Manufacturers do not cover the cost of additional trips or the time associated with issues caused by missing or damaged parts.
Opt-In Coverage If any parts are missing* or damaged, we will return at no additional charge to complete the assembly once the replacement parts have arrived. This coverage applies only to parts that are missing or damaged from items that were on-site at the time of the scheduled service. It does not cover situations where items or shipments were not delivered or available on the day of service. *Please note: This coverage does not apply to missing boxes. It remains the customer’s responsibility to ensure all boxes have been delivered (Count your boxes to make sure shipments are complete) and are accounted for prior to the scheduled appointment.
I understand and agree that: Leveling the foundation is not included in the the assembly services fee, Zomg The Handyman nor its crew level foundations. The foundation of the assembly area must be clear of all personal belongings and level within 1/4 inch across the full footprint of the unit. Surfaces that are uneven, obstructed, or unprepared may prevent proper installation. The performance and structural integrity of the unit are directly dependent on the installation surface. Zomg The Handyman is not responsible for issues resulting from unlevel or unsuitable conditions. If the area is not ready upon arrival, additional charges, delays, or rescheduling may be required.
I understand that Services can not be performed during periods where there is a forecasted threat of rain, snow, lightning, wet or cold conditions for safety reasons. Our Professional crew will work/communicate very closely with you to accommodate your needs and wants when challenged by weather conditions, safety must come first!
