our crew will provide black zip ties for this service that will be used every 2–3 feet to secure the lights, and they must be installed underneath the roof. At this time, there are no suitable attachment points available for proper installation using zip ties. String Lights will hang in a looping fashion, they will not follow the contour of the unit.
Purple Leaf requires that their Pergolas be anchored during the early stages of the assembly process on all of the eyelets of the posts. Solid Concrete foundations can not have anchoring closer to 6 inches from the edge of the concrete to avoid cracking of the concrete. Please refer to the manufacturer for questions regarding your specific model.
Anchor to concrete, 4 post Pergola. The outside of the posts can not be within 6 inches of any edge of the foundation. The our crew will provider Tapcon anchors screws if the manufacturer fails to supply the hardware. Per the manufacture this unit must have an Anchor Bolts/Screws each eyelet.

Anchor to a Wood or Trek Deck type base. 4 or 6 post. units. The our crew will provide and install lag bolts as part of the anchoring service. This service does not include deck evaluation, structural engineering, blocking, bracing, framing, carpentry, or any modifications to the existing deck structure. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the gazebo post locations align with existing deck joists or that any required blocking, bracing, or structural modifications are completed prior to installation. Customers are also responsible for ensuring the deck is structurally capable of supporting the gazebo and its intended use.
Zomg The Handyman and it's crew are not responsible for any damage to the foundation during the assembly process anchoring process. Trex or other composite decks should be covered in Ram Board before we arrive for the service appointment to protect these types of decks because they are so easily damaged.
4 Post Pergola Anchoring for Ground or Paver Foundations that require Concrete Footer Creation: our crew will provide all the materials to create the 12"x12"x18"D concrete footers and supply Tapcon type anchor screws when not supplied by Purple Leaf to properly anchor the unit. Pavers must be able to easily be lifted out. Foundations with Pavers will be cemented to the concrete footers.
