Trip Charge Insurance – Peace of Mind for Your Assembly At Zomg The Handyman, we understand that missing or damaged parts can sometimes delay assembly. Even though we work wioth manufacturers that have some of the best reputations for avoiding this issue it still happens and will be forever out of our control. To help make the process smoother, we now offer Trip Charge Insurance—an optional coverage that ensures a free return visit if we need to come back due to missing or broken parts.
Opt-Out – If you choose NOT to purchase Trip Charge Insurance, a $195 up to 30% of the total order Return Trip Fee will apply for additional visits needed due to missing or broken parts. FYI: Manufacturers do not cover the additional trip and wasted time costs for issues caused by missing or damaged parts.
Opt-In – If any parts are missing* or damaged, we will return at no additional charge to complete the assembly once the replacement parts have arrived. This does not cover the cost of shipments not being onsite the day of service. It only covers parts missing or damaged from the shipment that is on site before our scheduled service date. *This does not cover missing boxes, it is still the customers responsibility to make sure that all boxes are onsite and accounted for.
Product Movement: If you select the service option that requires Zomg The Handyman to move a product through your home in any type. Please understand that we can not be responsible for any damage to any part of your home through this process. We will be supple the proper staff, equipment expertise and caution to accomplish this task. But, these products have awkward weight distribution and are unusually hard to move through your home. The path way from the delivery area to the assembly area and assembly area must be cleared of all personal belongs and floors covered to protect them from damage.
Order Modification Policy: I understand that my order cannot be changed, modified, or updated within 48 hours of the scheduled service arrival window. Any request to add or remove services after this deadline must be approved in writing by Zomg The Handyman and may result in additional fees or administrative charges. Unapproved changes made the day of service may delay the appointment or result in partial or incomplete service.
Product Arrival: It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all boxes are on-site and in good condition at least two business days before the scheduled service appointment. If this is not the case, please contact Zomg The Handyman immediately to avoid rescheduling fees. Any damage to packaging or products should be reported in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, and Zomg The Handyman should be notified upon delivery.
