How you opt in

Texts are optional. When you book or ask for a quote on our website, a checkbox appears under the phone number field. It is unticked, and you can book or request a quote without ticking it. This is exactly what it says:

You also opt in when you text us first, or when you ask us on a phone call to text you a confirmation, quote or payment link. We record when and how you opted in.

Text message terms

• Who sends them: Zomg The Handyman TV Mounting & Assembly Services.
• What we send: texts about your own bookings and quotes: booking confirmations, appointment reminders, quote links, on-the-way updates, payment links and receipts.
• Example: “Zomg The Handyman TV Mounting & Assembly Services: Booking confirmed - TV Mounting on Saturday at 1:00 PM. Details / reschedule: <link> (Reply STOP to opt out)”
• How often: message frequency varies with your job, usually a few texts per booking.
• Cost: message and data rates may apply.
• To stop: reply STOP to any text. You will get one confirmation and no more texts. Reply START to opt back in.

• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your number stays private

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your text opt-in with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. It is used only to send the texts described above, through our texting provider.
