Refunds and Cancellation Policy for Zomg the Handyman

At Zomg the Handyman, we strive to provide the best service possible. We understand that sometimes plans change, and you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This Refunds and Cancellation Policy outlines our policies regarding cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds.
1. Cancellation Policy
- Standard Appointments:
- Cancellations: Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. Cancellations made with less than 12 hours' notice will incur a cancellation fee of $50.
- Rescheduling: Rescheduling must be done at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. If rescheduling is requested with less than 12 hours' notice, a rescheduling fee of $25 may apply.
- Large Projects:
- Cancellations: For larger projects that require a deposit, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled start date to receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.
-Rescheduling: Rescheduling of large projects must be done at least 48 hours in advance. If rescheduling is requested with less than 48 hours' notice, a rescheduling fee of $100 may apply.
2. Refund Policy
- Deposits: For larger projects requiring a deposit, full refunds are available if the cancellation is made at least 48 hours before the scheduled start date. Deposits are non-refundable if the cancellation is made with less than 48 hours' notice.
- Completed Work: If you are not satisfied with the completed work, please contact us within 7 days of the service date. We will assess the situation and, if deemed appropriate, will offer a refund or arrange for the work to be redone to your satisfaction. Refunds will not be issued for dissatisfaction arising from issues that were not communicated prior to the completion of the service.
3. No-Show Policy
- If our handyman arrives for a scheduled appointment and is unable to access the worksite or if the customer is not present and has not provided access, a no-show fee of $75 will be charged.
4. Weather-Related Cancellations
- In the event of inclement weather that prevents the safe completion of the scheduled work, we will notify you as soon as possible to reschedule. No cancellation or rescheduling fees will apply in these circumstances.
5. Emergency Cancellations
- We understand that emergencies happen. If you need to cancel or reschedule due to an emergency, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your situation without any fees, at our discretion.
